2025 IIDA Showroom & Booth Design Competition

 


Honoring originality of design and visual impact of showrooms and booths during NeoCon at theMart and Design Days in Fulton Market, emphasizing use of materials, space, color, texture, lighting, and graphics.

Showrooms and temporary Booths exhibiting at NeoCon and Design Days 2025 are eligible for entry.

 

Showrooms and Booths at Design Days in Fulton Market Deadline:
Submissions Open: March 3, 2025 
Submissions Close: May 30, 2025

Showrooms and Booths at NeoCon at theMart Deadline:
Submissions Open: March 3, 2025

Competition Guidelines

Submission Requirements

All submissions will be done electronically, no hard copy submissions will be accepted. To enter a project into this competition, you will need to prepare and submit the following:

·       Your firm's contact information including name, address, phone number, and email

·       Name of Manufacturer

·       Booth or Showroom Location (Address or Number)

·       Square Footage of the Space

·       On-site Contact’s name, email address, and cell phone number

 

  

Fulton Market Categories
Projects must be submitted in one of the categories below. Categories may be renamed, consolidated, or eliminated (and projects reclassified) at the discretion of IIDA and/or the jurors.

  • Large Showroom (4,000 sq. ft. or larger)
  • Small Showroom (under 4,000 sq. ft.)
  • Large Booth (400 sq. ft. or larger)
  • Small Booth (under 400 sq. ft.) 

 

Fulton Market Judging

The winning design projects will be selected by a jury of design professionals.  Jurors will evaluate exhibiting Showrooms and Booths at Fulton Market on Saturday, June 7, 2025. 

The jury will select a Best of Competition winner from the winners in each category and award on Saturday, June 7, 2025.

The jury reserves the right not to choose a winner in each category

 

theMart Categories

theMart Judging

Prize: 

Winners will be honored at NeoCon and Design Days 2025 and will be featured on IIDA.org. Winners will also receive official digital assets, including competition winner logos for self-promotion, coverage and mention on IIDA’s social media accounts, and in an official press release distributed to leading industry outlets and media partners.  The Best of Competition recipients will be eligible for the Best of Chicago Design Week, revealed at Revel In Design on June 8, 2025!
